Wood stove CARO 120 with soapstone cladding in a rustic house

What is soapstone?

Elegant, timeless and an ideal heat accumulator - soapstone is versatile and brings numerous advantages to your everyday life.

There is nothing more cosy than returning from the frosty cold to the comfort of your home and making yourself comfortable in front of a warm soapstone-clad stove.

The perfect heat accumulator: a stove with soapstone cladding emits a noticeable and pleasant radiant heat for several hours. With a minimum amount of wood, you can enjoy cosy warmth and a healthy room climate, even after the fire has gone out.

Soapstone is a natural stone that was formed millions of years ago under the influence of extreme pressure and heat. Due to its solid structure, high density and mineral composition, it has a high thermal conductivity and heats up quickly and evenly. The high heat storage capacity is achieved by the considerable magnesium content of soapstone.

Every soapstone storage stove is unique. The reason is simple: soapstone is a natural product. Varying degrees of grain on the surface make each soapstone unique. A stone with character that characterises the design of every stove.

Another plus point: soapstone is easy to clean! If there are traces of small scratches or fingerprints on the surface, these can be removed with a scotch fleece. Then wipe off any dust on the soapstone with a slightly damp cloth.

The stoves BANDO, CARO 120, JUNO L and Q-TEE 2 C are available with a soapstone cladding. Visit us in Cham or an Attika specialist partner near you and see this unique material for yourself.
