New European Standard 16510 for stoves and fireplaces – what you need to know.

From 9 November 2025, the new European Standard EN 16510 will apply to stoves and fireplaces. It replaces the previous standards EN 13240 for stoves and EN 13229 for fireplace inserts. But what does this change mean?
