Stone or steel cladding for a stove?

Traditional or modern, rustic or elegant? What exactly distinguishes a stove with stone or steel cladding?

Is it just the look or is there a benefit behind the heat-resistant cladding?

Stoves with soapstone or natural stone «Porto» cladding bring a cosy atmosphere to any room. They are reminiscent of grandmother's classic tiled stove and yet are timeless. The dynamic structure of the stone blends in well with its surroundings and is equally at home in a chalet or new build. The elegant natural stone «Porto» or elegantly polished soapstone harmonises with any style - whether with modern or classic stove designs.

As a natural product, each version is unique! The colouring and texturing effect is slightly different for every stove. The stone also has an exciting property: it is a heat accumulator. It absorbs the heat from the fire and then releases it into the room for several hours - even long after the fire is out. In order to achieve the longest possible heat release, Attika stoves offer the option of using additional heat-storage modules in the stove.

Steel stoves, on the other hand, can be heated quickly by the fire and give off heat within a short time. This means that the room is cosy and warm just a few minutes after lighting. Once the fire is out, the steel cools down again more quickly than a soapstone or natural stone cladding. To extend the heating time, storage elements can be inserted into the stove, which continuously emit heat. Casual side benches can be combined with the stoves with steel cladding, transforming the stove into a trendy furnishing element.

Attika also offers customised solutions: whether stone or steel cladding, the stylish fireplaces can be put together from different components to suit any interior design. You can choose the paint colour of the steel yourself, select the handle you like best and much more. Having trouble deciding?
