This label rates the energy efficiency of the stove on a scale from class A++ to G.
Externally, the energy label hardly differs from the labels we are already familiar with. The top section shows the manufacturer's name and the model name of the individual oven. This is followed by the «oven traffic light» with the energy efficiency classes. The colored arrows from green to yellow to red are arranged one above the other and show the nine classes from A++ to G. The opposite black arrow indicates the class in which the respective stove model is classified.
The more environmentally friendly and energy efficient a stove is, the better it is classified. A++ is the best class. At the bottom of the energy label, the heat output of the single room heater is indicated in kilowatts (kW).

The energy efficiency class can help you make a decision when buying a stove. All stove models from the various stove manufacturers are rated according to standardized criteria, allowing the buyer to compare stoves neutrally.
The higher the energy efficiency class of a stove, the more energy efficient it is. As a rule, more energy-efficient stoves consume less wood. This not only protects the environment, but also your wallet.
