The most important questions

Can I install a wood stove in a small room?

Yes, a wood stove can also be installed in a small room. It is important that the model, firebox size and heat output are suitable for the room.

For smaller rooms, we recommend wood stoves with a small firebox, such as the compact Q-TEE 2 from Attika. Models made from soapstone or wood stoves with a heat-storage module© are also recommended for smaller rooms.

Which stove suits me?

As the stove is not just a source of heat, but also a piece of furniture that must match your interior and personal style, this question is central. Of course, the basic question of fuel should be asked first. Once this has been clarified, Attika offers you a wide range of stoves and fireplace inserts. Our fireplaces are known for their perfect finish and long service life. To guarantee this, we only use selected, high-quality materials and raw materials. All Attika fireplaces currently on sale fulfil the strictest environmental and quality requirements.

Can I install a wood stove or wood fireplace in a Minergie or low-energy house?

Yes, this is possible if the wood stove or wood fireplace is installed as a room air independent unit. In this case, the combustion air is not drawn from the room but is supplied from outside in a controlled manner. To achieve this, the required fresh air is channelled from outside to the wood stove via a pipe or duct.

For almost all Attika wood stoves and wood fireplace inserts, this connection can be made via the AIR system. Depending on the model and installation situation, the air supply can be routed through the floor or the rear wall.

Please always observe the country-specific regulations and have the plans checked by a qualified professional.
