The most important questions

Can Bioethanol be left in the Burner?

Bioethanol can change when it comes into contact with air, which may affect the quality of combustion. The fuel should therefore be used up as completely as possible and should not be left in the Burner unnecessarily before prolonged periods of non-use.

In manual burners, Bioethanol evaporates even if it is not burnt. For periods of prolonged non-use, it is therefore advisable to fill the Burner with only as much Bioethanol as is likely to be needed and to allow the fuel to burn out as completely as possible.

The instructions in the user manual for the respective Burner must always be followed.

I’m looking for a decorative fireplace. Which is better: gas or Bioethanol?

If flexible placement is a priority, a bioethanol fireplace is a suitable solution. However, it should not be regarded as a heating appliance.

Bioethanol fireplaces are particularly suitable where there is no traditional wood fireplace or gas connection. Gas fireplaces are a sensible choice if a permanently installed solution is required and the structural requirements for operation with natural gas or liquid gas are met.

Do I need to ventilate the room when using a Bioethanol fireplace – and how often?

Yes, regular ventilation is important when using a Bioethanol fireplace. The exact specifications regarding air exchange depend on the volume of the room.

Please refer to the user manual for details on how often and for how long you should ventilate the room.
