The Montreal family of built-in fireplaces are stylish and minimalist bioethanol fireplaces. The 8-millimetre-thick aluminium casing impresses with its modern design and high-quality workmanship. Thanks to this casing, Montreal can be safely installed. On all open sides, Montreal is equipped with robust, deep glass panes that not only provide protection but also accentuate the flames. The built-in fireplaces are available in numerous versions, but they all have one thing in common: with their uniquely calm and even view of the flames, they create a cosy atmosphere everywhere.

The Montreal room divider is a stylish fireplace that elegantly separates two rooms. The flames are visible from both sides, creating a harmonious connection between the rooms. The fireplaces in the Montreal family are real eye-catchers and give every room character and depth. Available in widths of 800 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm, the room divider adapts perfectly to different room concepts.

You have the choice between three different burners: the manual burner does not require a power connection and the flame height is regulated using a manual slide. The automatic model Denver F3 and the premium burner Denver F6 have additional safety sensors and various flame levels. You can control the flame intensity either by remote control or using the control panel on the device. You can also see the fill level on the control panel.

If you opt for the premium burner Denver F6, additional advantages such as operating via an app and SmartHome integration await you. It is also possible to connect the Denver F6 to an external tank system for uninterrupted operation.

In Switzerland, bioethanol fireplaces with a heat output of more than 2 kW must not be operated without a fireplace connection. We recommend the Decoflame fuel (96.5% - 97.5% bioethanol) for use with the bioethanol burner.

What fuel is used in a bioethanol fireplace?

A bioethanol fireplace must be fuelled with high-quality Bioethanol. This helps to prevent malfunctions and ensures reliable operation.

Bioethanol burns almost residue-free, leaving no smoke, fine dust or ash. This makes cleaning the fireplace easier. Regular checks by qualified personnel are not required.

For operation, we recommend Decoflame fuel with an alcohol content of 96.5%–97.5%.

Do bioethanol fireplaces need a chimney?

Bioethanol fireplaces produce neither smoke, fine dust nor ash. Therefore, operation without a chimney is generally possible. However, different regulations may apply depending on the country.

Note for Switzerland:
In Switzerland, bioethanol fireplaces are designed for operation at up to 2 kW. Bioethanol fireplaces with a heat output of more than 2 kW must not be operated without a fireplace connection.

Our bioethanol stoves for Switzerland are designed to be operated without a chimney.
