Opening and closing the lift door is an important function of the fireplace. With the VISIO wood fireplace, this is child's play and can be done by hand. Would you like to clean the glass pane? With a clever mechanism, the glass pane can simply be swivelled open and the pane can be cleaned. 

Infrared coated glass ceramic panes reflect significantly more thermal radiation back into the firebox than conventional firebox glasses. The resulting increase in combustion temperature means greater energy efficiency, less wood consumption, top emission values and beautiful flames.

Even with large fire viewing panels, the living room temperature remains pleasant when the wood fireplace is in operation thanks to the infrared coating. This means that the beautifully burning fire can also be enjoyed close to the fireplace.

Infrared-coated glass ceramic panes combined with pioneering firebox geometry and state-of-the-art firebox technology ensure a clean and CO2-neutral fire every time the stove is lit. So that you can enjoy the play of fire through the glass ceramic without any clouding, our ingenious window rinsing system directs preheated combustion air via the firebox into the combustion chamber, where it flushes the glass ceramic pane from the inside as a constant draught and keeps it largely soot-free.

Window rinsing is standard in every Attika stove and fireplace insert and is one of the many secrets of why our fireplaces burn visibly more beautifully.

Attika fireplaces are known for their soot-free fire viewing panels and their uniquely beautiful view of the flames. The secret behind this quality advantage is our understanding of firebox glazing as a holistic concept.

In line with this idea, we carry out extensive series of tests to find the glass mix for each individual firebox that guarantees ecological combustion, a perfect fire view and sensible heat output in equal measure. Depending on the model, double glazing and special infrared coating are used. We uncompromisingly use only the most efficient glass ceramic panes available on the market.

Each version of our stoves and fireplace inserts has its own perfect glass mix. Depending on the model, this consists of double glazing, infrared coating or both.

Choose between dark-stained oak, black steel with stainless steel inlay or completely stainless steel.

To guarantee this, we only use selected, high-quality materials and raw materials. This includes using thicker and therefore more stable steel plates than is usual in the industry.

We are also at the forefront when it comes to firing technology: Not only in terms of the environment, but also with an aesthetic view of the flames without sooty discs. No product leaves our factory without undergoing meticulous production and quality controls.

Instead of releasing all the heat into the room, some of the energy generated is stored in the heat-storage module© and released into the room for hours - even when the fire has long since stopped burning. Depending on the living room situation, an additional storage cylinder is a useful source of heat. The dosed heat output of a fireplace is useful, for example, in well-insulated buildings (Minergie house, low-energy house, climate house).

Many of our VISIO wood fireplace inserts can be supplemented with an optional storage module.

The AIR system supplies controlled outside air to the combustion process. Thanks to the combustion of outside air, the overall efficiency is increased and your wood stove or wood fireplace burns room air independent. This means that the stove does not interfere with the air circulation and ventilation systems in the same room. The same applies vice versa. This is particularly practical for Minergie and low-energy houses. In Germany, most of our stoves fulfil the strict requirements of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

Depending on the model and structural conditions, the AIR system's fresh air supply is fed in via an external wall behind the stove or directly through the floor. With the specially developed AIR installation set, this connection can be realised in a visually very discreet and appropriate way.

The design firebox lining of your VISIO wood fireplace consists of the high-quality materials vermiculite and fireclay. The anthracite-coloured material ensures a high combustion chamber temperature. The additional heat supports clean and CO2-neutral combustion. 

Simple elegance, clear lines and minimalist design take centre stage in the R series fireplace inserts. Whether as a front, two-sided or three-sided version in various dimensions with a glass or steel door, there is a solution for every living situation.

High-quality materials, extremely solid construction and workmanship and the best combustion values characterise the R-series fireplaces. Thanks to their compact design, the inserts are also perfect for fireplace renovations.

The ash drawer of your wood fireplace should be emptied regularly. With the VISIO wood fireplace, this can be done in no time at all. The cold ash in the firebox is swept to the ash grate and then the full ash drawer can be removed with a single movement. The ash is then disposed of properly and the empty ash drawer is replaced. The fireplace is ready for a new firing.

The glass panes in the two- and three-sided and room divider models in the Kalfire W series are made in one piece. The glass edges are not butt-jointed at the corners, allowing a clear view of the beautiful view of the flames.

You can choose from three different back panel variants for Kalfire wood fireplaces. An important detail for the living room design, even when the fireplace is not burning.

You can choose between a Skamol, louvre or design back panel.

All Kalfire wood fireplaces and gas fireplaces have a surround as standard. Different frame widths and steel thicknesses are available for all models. These different surround variants enable numerous design solutions for various living situations.

All wood fireplaces in the Kalfire W series are equipped with a lifting door that makes it easy to add wood logs. The fireplace glazing can be easily operated with the Kalfire key.

Kalfire's unique lifting mechanism (Easy Door System) makes it very easy to open the glass pane for cleaning. To clean the glass pane, the invisible handle is turned 180 degrees to the left. Whether the glass pane tilts or slides forwards - in both cases, the pane is easy to clean.

A clever system ensures that a constant draught of air washes the glass pane of the wood fireplace from the inside, keeping the panes soot-free for a long time.
